An excellent showcase of the Danish Fancy style, this Freehand from Kriswill is a bold, expressive piece. A tall, flaring bowl stands upfront, with thick walls flaring high from the sweeping heel toward the craggy, plateau-crowned rim. Lifting out of the transition from the bowl is a muscular shank, which flares slightly toward an outcropping of plateau at the shank face, where it accept a bent stem with a pair of stylish expansion rings at its base. The stummel wears a rich contrast stain that highlights healthy grain all throughout.
