A Danish interpretation of the classic shape, this bent Dublin by Johannes Hoffmann boasts a long, curvaceous outline, offering almost seven inches of length and a decidedly active posture. Up front, a stocky bowl stands atop a lifted heel and grows thick, insulating walls that flare upward to a broad rim. As the bowl expands, it takes on a dramatic forward cant accentuated by the rim's gently raised fore, with the entirety of the shape's walls surging outward. A wide transition follows the bowl and marks the start of a sturdy shank that joins a demurely curved saddle stem, with this mouthpiece's gentle downturn offsetting the fore's opposing trajectory. A warm, glossy finish dresses the ensemble and highlights gorgeous cross grain and birdseye throughout the stummel.
