W.Ø. Larsen was, at one point, the home to many of Denmark's most esteemed carvers, including Sixten Ivarsson, Teddy Knudsen, Tonni Nielsen, Jess Chonowitsch, and Hans "Former" Nielsen. This bent Billiard from W.Ø. Larsen boasts a "swan neck" style of S-curve that brings to mind Dunhill's "LC" Billiard, though the shank-and-stem arrangement here is far trimmer than Dunhill's. The bowl here is tall and tapered, its supple frame housing a capacious tobacco chamber, ensuring plenty of long, leisurely smoking sessions, which the sweeping shank-and-stem arrangement is posed to aid. A smoky smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights healthy grain across the bowl's flanks, while a metallic accent adorns the junction and ties the shape together with a dose of flash.
