W.Ø. Larsen was, at one point, the home to many of Denmark's most esteemed carvers, including Sixten Ivarsson, Teddy Knudsen, Tonni Nielsen, Jess Chonowitsch, and Hans "Former" Nielsen. A handsome showcase of the workshop's style, this Billiard features a stocky, full-bodied bowl that stands at the fore of a sturdy shank and a gently tapered stem. Proportionally well balanced, the bowl, shank, and stem contribute equally to the form, fostering a streamlined profile and a comfortable in-hand presence. Dressing this piece is a smoky smooth finish that highlights healthy grain across the bowl and shank alike.
