Ib Loran was one of the workshop's head carvers and crafted several stunning pieces like this smooth Billiard. Conventional and classic, this pipe is an ideal option for those seeking a traditional silhouette, and its lightweight stature makes it easy to take on the go. Up front, the walls of the cylindrical bowl rise with a subtle taper to the flat rim. The wide transition gives way to a rounded shank-and-stem arrangement as the mouthpiece slenderizes toward the bit. The inky pigment of the vulcanite stem is an ideal companion for the dark chestnut stain dressing the stummel, showcasing handsome grain throughout.
