Denmark's Peter Heeschen was a highly regarded artisan, known for his unique reinterpretations of classic shapes, as well as designs from the Danish tradition. This Brandy is a conservative example of Heeschen;s shaping, possessing a streamlined build and a lean, elegant silhouette. Up front, a plump bowl stands atop a wide heel and grows supple walls that arc to a taut, flat rim. A wide transition follows the bowl and marks that start of a trim shank extended by two knuckles of dark bamboo. The inky complexion of the dense grass complements the slender saddle stem that tops off the composition, fostering a cohesive color palette along the pipe's aft. Dressed in a rich auburn stain, the stummel boasts fine flame grain around the bowl and birdseye along the rim and heel.
