This "29" Apple by Monarch is unique interpretation of the traditional form, offering a silhouette that evokes the look of Italian neoclassical briars, with the bowl holding most of the visual weight within the composition. Said bowl is hefty and full-bodied, its substantive build providing a reassuring in-hand presence. A wide transition follows the bowl and gives way to a trim oval shank and a lean tapered stem. This shank-and-stem arrangement slenderizes the pipe's aft and keeps the shape looking sleek in profile, its gracile build drawing focus to the pipe's fore. Dressed in a crisp sandblast, the stummel offers a wealth of engaging grain and texture.
