This Pot by Santana, a sub-company of Stanwell, is characterized by a squat, supple bowl at its fore. The walls of the bowl rise from a lifted heel to a broad, softly domed rim, offering supple contours that conform well to the hand. A broad oval shank lifts out of the transition and joins to a gracefully downturned saddle stem, the arrangement lending this piece a fluid profile. Dressing the stummel is a warm, hazelnut stain that highlights handsome grain throughout.
