A rather rigid and angular take on the Bulldog shape, this piece from Mark Dane features a broad, muscular bowl that rises from a pointed, well-defined heel and stands at the fore of a crisp diamond shank and a jet-black mouthpiece. The shank-and-stem arrangement tapers subtly form the transition to the bit, slenderizing the aft side of the composition and leading the eye toward the bowl, which boasts the form's domed rim and wrapping beadlines. It's dressed in a dark, grain-defining sandblast that complements the shape's muscular build and structural line work.
