Danish Estates: Neerup P. Jeppesen Handmade High Grade Sandblasted Freehand (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-001-38640
A gargantuan piece of briar, this Freehand from Peder Jeppesen weighs nearly a pound and boasts a length over eight inches from end to end. Crafted and finished by hand, this High Grade piece showcases Jeppesen's predilection for whimsical, organically shaped designs, with the rim of the massive bowl covered in a field of craggy plateau. The lifted heel and low-set transition lend further visual prominence to the forward-surging bowl, supported in profile by the thick, high-kicking shank. The shank face displays a touch of plateau, matching the bowl's rim, while the demure, relative to the stummel's proportions, saddle stem arcs for a relaxed smoking posture. The orange and black colors of the acrylic mouthpiece perfectly complement the vibrant contrast stain that dresses the stummel. The low-profile sandblast provides plenty of stimulating texture for the fingers and draws out whispers of growth rings across the bowl. Possessing a tobacco chamber over two inches in depth, this distinctive pipe ensures plenty of long smoking sessions.
