Danish Estates: Benni Jorgensen Smooth Bent Brandy Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-001-39060
Benni Jørgensen's journey into the world of pipe making began unexpectedly during a routine visit to his doctor, where he was introduced to the craft. Intrigued by the art, he visited his neighbor, renowned pipe maker Teddy Knudsen, who played a pivotal role in encouraging him to pursue the craft further. After being impressed by the offerings at W.Ø. Larsen's showroom in Copenhagen and with Knudsen's urging, Jørgensen applied to work at the prestigious Danish workshop. His career there spanned 25 years, until the company's closure in 2005. The extensive experience he gained at W.Ø. Larsen, particularly in crafting high-grade pipes, deeply informed his personal shaping style and understanding of what makes a great pipe. Today, Jørgensen's pipes reflect this intimate knowledge and passion, combining the refined craftsmanship he honed at W.Ø. Larsen with his own distinctive approach, evident in pieces like this beautifully shaped Brandy.
