Danish Estates: Bari Amber Smooth Billiard (8030) Tobacco Pipe

Founded in 1950 by Viggo Nielsen, Bari was known for producing a wide range of shapes, many of them showcasing a combination of Fancy Freehand and traditional Danish styles. With that said, this "8030" Billiard from Bari is quite tame in comparison to some of their other offerings. The Billiard bowl showcases almost completely classic shaping, apart from its slightly elongated walls, which tower over the short and rather muscular shank. Joining the shank is a tapered vulcanite stem. The bowl of this offering is flanked by birdseye on both sides, and cross grain decorates the rim and accentuates the bowl's fore. These grain patterns are brought out by a smooth finish and chestnut stain.
