About This Pipe
Revered as one of the world's most talented artisan pipe makers, Jess Chonowitsch presents this stunning Billiard. The Danish carver has emphasized the height of the bowl, raised to Stack-like dimensions, while the shank and stem remain comparatively shorter. The added height was an apt choice for this particular block of briar — allowing for more display of the flowing flame grain — yet it doesn't appear imbalanced here at all, canted forward just enough to ease the lines of the of form and remain aesthetically enticing.
