It may have lost its original stem somewhere along the way, but on the upside this old Comoy's straight Billiard did gain a sterling silver band. (Normally an aftermarket band is the result of a cracked shank, but in this case, the shank still appears perfectly intact.) Long, lean, dark-finished, and offering a pretty generous chamber, this is overall a good deal on a classic English style of smoking instrument.
