English Estates: Everyman by Comoy's Smooth Dublin (36B) (c. 1960s-1970s)

Product Number: 004-002-7192

Everyman is a Comoy's seconds brand, but, being of pre-1980s vintage, it's not all that surprising to find that this straight Dublin is on par in quality with a lot of other makers' "first" brands. While the grain is a turbulent affair, it doesn't look at all bad combined with a the dark walnut finish, and the cross-grain found on the rim is actually pretty nice. Unusual for a "seconds" brand briar, I'm not seeing any fills, either.
