English Estates: Dunhill Ring Grain (4102) (2000)

Product Number: 004-002-7024

There are times when I come across a Dunhill Shell Briar that leaves me wondering how it got out of the factory without a "Ring Grain" stamp. Then there are Ring Grains like this supple bent Billiard, which leave me wondering if a "Ring Grain" stamp alone is really enough. This is easily one of the very finest displays of ring grain I've ever seen on a Dunhill: tight, fine, consistent, and smoothly undulating in a manner that seems just perfect for complementing the particular Dunhill shape it happened to crop up on.
