English Estates: Dunhill Shell Briar (4203) (2001)

Product Number: 004-002-7156

A well-defined sandblast and a good dose of rugged ring grain come together along the forward half this Shell Briar. While not quite enough to merit a "Shell Ring Grain" stamp, I'd still say it's a better example of Dunhill's "standard" sandblasts. Though a fairly good-sized pipe, the design has a light and trim look about it, with a nicely proportioned bowl and shank and long saddle bit - and it sits just fine as well.
