English Estates: James Upshall Smooth Bent Dublin (G)

Product Number: 004-002-7208

The color of this Upshall Dublin is classic, and a standard for the company and its fellow countrymen. The pipe is lightly stained, if at all, and then buffed with a mixture of very fine red buffing media and oil. Unlike the bar tripoli used today, it's more like a peanut butter consistency, and has been used to polish silver coffee pots and similar items for hundreds of years. Quite lovely on pipes because it colors and polishes at the same time.
