English Estates: Ben Wade Walnut Briar Smooth Billiard (1W) (Family Era)

Product Number: 004-002-7312

From 1860 to 1962 Ben Wade was a family business, with a bit of production sabbatical taken during WWII after their factory in Leeds was bombed to pieces. While post-family Ben Wades tend to be associated with the wild Danish fancy shapes Preben Holm made for Lane Ltd. under the Ben Wade name from '72 to '89, this straight Billiard is completely on the other end of the spectrum: a classic English shape in a reserved walnut contrast finish, right out of the family era.
