Theodore Justin Gage, the former publisher of the "The Complete Smoker", called Sasieni pipes a "fascinating collectible, .representing all that is good about classic English pipe making." It's not hard to see why: the pipes made by the Sasieni company (falling between the years 1919 and 1979) rank among the very best the London pipe industry had to offer, as they featured superb wood, flawlessly crafted from bowl to bit, and of notable smoking quality - besides being plenty stylish in their own right. Sasieni's are also among the most underrated pipes on the market and unusually some of the lowest costing as well, which offers collectors a genuinely great opportunity to snag a little piece of history.
