English Estates: Comoy's Golden Grain (126) (pre-1980)

Product Number: 004-002-7581

With it's great breadth of chamber and bowl paired to a modestly-sized and proportioned shank and stem, this old Comoy's was built to provide a full smoke in a handy package. Aside from some handling marks, mainly on the top of the shank, and a bit of rim darkening, it's made it through the years in quite good condition. The finish remains handsome, the chamber shows no signs of abuse from careless reaming, and the stem looks as if it might have been made last week (minus, of course, the presence of the tell-tale, pre-1980 three-piece "C").
