English Estates: Astley's Smooth Lovat

Product Number: 004-002-7869

The pipe's made for Astley's namesake line came from a number of different sources over the years. Nonetheless one can still make an educated guess as to a particular pipe's origins based on such things as shaping, or, as in this case, the stem-work. The concave button of this briar's stem indicates it was made by Upshall, and the beautiful hand-cut cumberland only reinforces that suggestion.
