I've seen Upshalls with plateau before, but it was always up top. You don't often see plateau bottoms on English pipes in general - such things are not to be found on the classic charts, after all. Still, even with that rugged texture down below, this briar still sits well - and the flame grain and birdseye certainly is impressive.
