English Estates: GBD Smooth Bent Billiard with Silver Spigot (1985)

Product Number: 004-002-6494

GBD was 'out there' in the 1980s when most other English pipe factories remained rather conservative with shape and color. Since a few of the big houses sold in 1980, they looked to the rest of the world. Color, accents, and all sorts of things became the norm. The bowl and silver on this piece would be right at home with grandad, but the acrylic stem speaks of rebel youth.
