English Estates: Barling's Make Sandblasted Apple (5229) (T.V.F.) (Transition) (Replacement Stem)
Product Number: 004-002-10759
A generously-shaped, palm-filling Apple here; this Transition-era Barling's sports as craggy a blast as can be found on older English briars. The size is roughly on par with a Group 5, and the chamber emphasizes depth over breadth. A flattened panel at the underside assures it's a firm sitter. The condition is sound, with a bit of darkening at the rim and a replacement stem.
