English Estates: Dunhill Christmas Pipe 1995 'Three French Hens' Limited Edition Bruyere (4202) (327/500) (Unsmoked)
Product Number: 004-002-13573
A special Dunhill series in and of itself, the English marque's Christmas pipe is an annual series featuring a limited-number run of special briars accompanied by special book-style presentation cases and specifically designed tampers cast in sterling silver. And from 1993-2004, Dunhill based this line's theme on that of the The Twelve Days of Christmas.
1995's release was the "Three French Hens", here represented by a hearty Group 4 bent Apple, wearing an ornate, sterling silver windcap, and, of course, the edition's special "Three French Hens" silver band. The silver tamper sees a depiction of the hens, clucking away around three French flags (as a subtle reminder of the fowl's nationality.) It's unsmoked, and condition of both pipe and box is excellent all around.- Daniel Bumgardner
