English Estates: Dunhill The British Bulldog Bruyere with Silver Cap (4103) (67/100) (2015) (Unsmoked)
Product Number: 004-002-16851
From the Russian borzoi, to the Neopolitan mastiff of Italy, to Hungary's komondor, most nations have one, or several, breeds which are closely linked with their history and cultural identity. Few, though, are so prominent and widely known as the British bulldog. Rollicking lumps of muscle and bone, there are few other breeds that can pack half as much dog into so little square-footage, and most that do are its own descendents and close relatives. You'll find their image adorning flags, you'll find them kept as mascots, and the most famously stubborn Brit of all the 20th century, Sir Winston Churchill, was often considered their human incarnation. With this special, limited-edition series of White Dot briars, Dunhill honors both their nation's most beloved breed, and, on a more personal level, the memory of their own mascot, Diamond Fab. Each of these briars is fitted out with a special sterling silver band, not to mention of course, a sterling silver bulldog-head windscreen cap as well. Furthermore, with every piece sold a donation is made to the UK's British Bulldog Rescue charity organization, whose mission it is to support bulldogs which have been abandoned or orphaned.- Kaz Walters
