English Estates: Dunhill Tanshell (61051) (1978)
Product Number: 004-002-13552
Quite a large straight Dublin here, this Group 6 "51" houses a massive tobacco chamber, delivering both depth and breadth in spades. What I find most interesting about this particular example, however, is the blast. Simply put, this is one of the lowest-profile tan blasts I've seen from Dunhill. Blasting away only the softest portions of the briar, they've managed to keep the lines of the shape clean and well-preserved while still unearthing quite a lovely display of ring grain to boot. It's still in good condition, too.- Andrew Wike
