English Estates: Barling's Make Smooth Billiard (1759) (EL) (Pre-Transition) (Replacement Stem)
Product Number: 004-002-15334
A relatively handy, though long and lithe rendition of the Billiard, this pre-Transition Barling is a fine product of the marque's heyday. It wears a nice spread of birdseye at the right flank, all highlighted by warm finish, and complemented by a slender jet-black stem. Said stem isn't entirely flush with the shank, leading us to surmise it probably came from another Barling briar, and aside from that and some rim darkening and a few dings, condition is good.- Daniel Bumgardner
