English Estates: James Upshall Smooth Rhodesian (P) (FH) (Ex.L)
Product Number: 004-002-15867
I'm guessing Upshall didn't make Rhodesians all that frequently, relative to other classic shapes. The fair handful which we have seen show quite a lot of variation in shaping, from those with firm bowls and fat shanks, reminiscent of old French executions, to this long and tall, quite large yet soft-lined number. There's a little rim darkening, some chamber carbonizing and over-reaming, along with some small scratches around the bowl, but otherwise condition is fair.- Daniel Bumgardner
