English Estates: James Upshall Smooth Bent Billiard (P)
Product Number: 004-002-16505
A Billiard rendition with softer lines than what's typical of the English school, this James Upshall piece shows an ever-so-slight downward turn to its stem, echoed by the softly lifted heel up front. While the lines are gentle and svelte here, the proportions and overall size are anything but. A bold, hearty piece, it's chock full of classic English muscularity and, thus, plenty of chamber within. A traditional, warm stain rounds off the piece, showing a decent show of grain. Condition-wise, just some rim charring and small handling marks to note.-Truett Smith
