English Estates: Dunhill Root Briar (127) (4) (R) (1967)
Product Number: 004-002-17031
Displaying some considerably stout proportions for an English marque, this Dunhill "127" in Group 4 size still puts every much-loved feature of the classic English school on full display: a subtle forward cant, a timeless, iconic finish, and well-distributed visual weight. The bowl is quite hearty and is paired to a decidedly thicker transition and shank than you might expect to find on present-day interpretations. Fashioned back in 1967, this piece earned the marque's prestigious Root Briar designation and features some lovely birdseye patterns across the bowl's flanks.- Jeffery Sitts
