English Estates: Dunhill Bruyere Patent (A) (358) (1930)
Product Number: 004-002-17329
A Dunhill Prince from 1930, this piece wears the classic Bruyere finish, though it's been buffed too much on the rim. Grain is mixed, as expected on older pipes, and the shaping takes center stage with this classic, plump bowl and long trailing stem. If you're a history buff, and especially if you're a history buff who appreciates Dunhill pipes, consider carefully before letting this one pass by. It's seen almost 90 years of history and is ready to see much more. There's some charring at the airway and in the tobacco chamber, and the stem has been over-buffed, but condition otherwise is good.- Chuck Stanion
