A full-bodied, rounded rendition of the Poker design, this piece from an unknown maker bulges at the flanks for a plump disposition in hand. The chamfered rim adds some crispness of line to the hearty form, and it sits upright, well suited for use as a desk pipe. Quite a nice array of grain too, making it a pity there's no one to credit for it. Condition-wise, just some minor rim darkening, handling marks, and charring around the airway to note.
