English Estates: Charatan's Make Special Bent Billiard (4211) (1961-1965)

Product Number: 004-002-17131

A vintage Charatan's Make offering from the early '60s, this bent Billiard is a robust rendition of the classic shape chart standard. For fans and collectors of generously sized English classics, there's nothing not to love about this piece — hearty proportions, an elegant bend, and stunning array of cross grain and birdseye define this smoker, all dressed in a natural, honey-blonde contrast stain. There is some rim darkening, handling marks, and the chamber has been scraped, is uneven from reaming, and shows some chamber carbonizing. Otherwise, it's in good condition, especially for its age, and should still have plenty of life in it as a reliable, go-to briar.
