English Estates: Bewlay Spiral Smooth Lovat Patent (S254)

Product Number: 004-002-17343

It's said that a number of different factories made Bewlay, but commonly presumed is that Sasieni fashioned their Spiral line. And I wouldn't be surprised to learn this to be true, if this handsome Lovat is any indication. While we aren't positive of the year that this pipe is from, we are pretty confident (based on the patent) that it's likely from the 1940s or before. Only some minor rim darkening, chamber carbonizing, and a few dings around the bowl; otherwise condition is good.
