English Estates: Orlik Golden Contrast Smooth Bent Billiard (GC186)

Product Number: 004-002-17654

The lines of this Orlik piece call to mind the easy and broad, yet fuller bends often seen in British pipes, and Petersons in particular from the very early 1900s. It's not quite there, mind you; there would have to be some bend continuing upward in the shank from the transition. Nonetheless, it's more reminiscent of that older way of doing things that all but a few present day shapes display.
