English Estates: Dunhill Shell Briar Patent (142/8) (1938) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-002-17840

It's not every day we come across a vintage Shell Briar Patent and when we do, they certainly don't stick around for long. Not only do these older Dunhills exemplify classic English shaping cues, they are a collector's dream and are more than worthy of being centerpieces. Here we see the legendary marque's "142" straight Dublin, with its tall, narrow-chambered bowl displaying a subtle hint of forward cant in profile. And seeing as it's an older Dunhill, we find it here dressed in an appropriately craggy Shell Briar sandblast, offering plenty of texture for your fingers to wander over as you think about all the world events this pipe has survived. Just as impressive as the shaping and finish of this piece is the fact it's from 1938 and is still in excellent condition.
