English Estates: Comoy's Grand Slam Patent (164) (US Pat.) (*4) (Bar Logo) (1933-1945)
Product Number: 004-002-17964
In terms of both classical English shaping and grain, this Comoy's Grand Slam Patent knocks it out of the park. Its plump Apple bowl fits right in with the tapered stretch of shank and stem, and the birdseye along the left flank is particularly choice. the original stinger is gone, leaving a large airway, but for a vintage classic 70 or 80 years old, it's too good to pass up.- Andrew Wike
