English Estates: Comoy's Old Bruyere Bulldog (4) (1920s-1930s)

Product Number: 004-002-19447

A handsome, classically English Bulldog from Comoy's, this vintage piece features a high-set waistline and some neat, sharp lines through the diamond shank and saddle stem. The bowl features the form's characteristic beadlines, visible underneath the tapered rim that slopes gently inward to the tobacco chamber. Fashioned sometime between the 1920s and 30s, this piece represents traditional English shaping and serves as an excellent example of why Comoy's pipes are highly revered and prized by collectors. Comoy's that are this old don't come around that often, but when they do, they sure don't stick around long.
