English Estates: Comoy's Specimen Straight Grain Pot (26) (c.1950-1979)
Product Number: 004-002-19126
This vintage Specimen Straight Grain Pot from Comoy's was fashioned during the marque's heyday, from 1950-1979, before the company was taken over by Cadogan. Stout, deftly chambered, and a sturdy sitter, this pipe is also pocket-friendly. But perhaps its most notable feature is the remarkable flame grain and birdseye found across the stummel. Dressed in a warm, auburn stain to better showcase the grain, this piece is further commended by a jet-black, vulcanite stem.-Angela Robertson
