English Estates: Dunhill Root Briar (4208) (1986)
Product Number: 004-002-19596
An archetypal rendition of the classic form, Dunhill's "08" bent Bulldog features the shape's rigid diamond shank and beadlined bowl, the hard lines and crisp taper contrasting against the silhouette's genteel curves and the supple heel. The firm ridgelines of the diamond shank continue into the base of the saddle stem before the mouthpiece ends in a gentle downturn and promises a comfortable hands-free smoking posture. This particular piece was crafted back in 1986 and rendered in Group 4 proportions, notably earning the marque's esteemed Root Briar designation.-Truett Smith
