English Estates: Dunhill Bruyere (ODB) (837) (F/T) (1999)

Product Number: 004-002-19720

Quite the substantial, hearty iteration, this "837" Bulldog from Dunhill is epic in size, as indicated by inclusion in the English marque's "800" series and by its ODB stamping. Boasting an impressive chamber capacity in a bowl that's more than two-inches tall and replete with the form's characteristic beadlines, the crisp lines of the diamond shank really stand out in this piece and pair well with the aforementioned beadlines. Dressed in the ruby hue of the Bruyere finish and showing off windswept grain and birdseye, the Bruyere was Alfred Dunhill's original finish upon launching his brand of premium pipes and was the only Dunhill finish from 1910 until 1917 and remains still beloved 100-plus-years later.
