English Estates: Dunhill Tanshell (413) (1976)

Product Number: 004-002-20089

An uncommon Billiard rendition from Dunhill, the "413" presents a form that prioritizes bowl height in relation to the shank and stem. It's not as large as the English marque's Group 6 or "800" series pipes, but the relative proportions lend the bowl a dominant presence in profile. Found here in the Tanshell finish, this example from 1976 exudes a dramatic texture and displays a contrasted palette — the result of having been refinished and buffed decades a go.
