English Estates: Dunhill Shell Briar (59) (F/T) (4) (S) (1967)
Product Number: 004-002-20090
This rendition of Dunhill's old "59" straight Billiard design features a medium-sized Group 4 bowl, showing just a touch of forward cant for compositional balance, on the end of a shank that's slightly less robust than other iterations of the "59" we've seen. Crafted back in 1967, the stummel wears the English marque's renowned Shell Briar sandblast for ample texture in hand and a consistently dark, tastefully understated color palette. There's some minor rim charring present and the button was modified at some point, but neither will impact the pipe's performance.-Truett Smith
