English Estates: Dunhill Root Briar (K) (4) (R) (1963)
Product Number: 004-002-20128
The highest honor for a Dunhill pipe is to receive the prestigious Root Briar appellation. Root Briars have been coveted by pipe smokers ever since they first debuted in 1931, due to the fact that each pipe must boast briar completely free of even the most minor of blemishes. This smooth Billiard features a bevy of gorgeous birdseye on both flanks, amid a cross grain orientation at its fore and aft. Rendered in Group 4 size, this vintage piece is dressed in a handsome, walnut stain, pairing well with its elegantly tapered, jet-black vulcanite stem.-Angela Robertson
