English Estates: Loewe & Co. 'Bath' Sandblasted Dublin (pre-1968)

Product Number: 004-002-20260

Crafted prior to 1968, this lean, vintage Dublin from Loewe & Co. is stamped "Bath" after the city in southwest England known for its Roman-built baths in addition to a scandalous wife from there in Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales. Structurally, this classically English Dublin shape features a tall, slightly canted bowl that tapers to the firm heel, with a sleek stretch of shank and stem, providing a pleasant balance to the bowl's height. It's dressed in a dark sandblast, highlighting some lovely growth rings and providing textural appeal, as well.
