English Estates: Comoy's Specimen Straight Grain Apple (159) (1950-1979) (Unsmoked)
Product Number: 004-002-20352
A remarkable, vintage Apple is presented here from Comoy's, crafted during the marque's most well-recognized and celebrated years, from when a new factory was christened in 1950 until the early 1980s, when it was taken over by Cadogan. This "159" features a trim, streamlined form, with the bowl poised pertly at the end of a straight stretch of sleek shank and stem, for a pleasant balance. Dressed in a traditional chestnut stain, this Specimen pipe displays tight-knit vertical grain all around the bowl, with birdseye speckling the heel base. It's presented here in unsmoked condition.-Angela Robertson
