Dunhill's "LBS" is basically a slimmer "LB" straight Billiard and is rendered here in a still fairly robust Group 4 size, with a spacious chamber amid thick walls. It's paired to a stretch of round shank and saddle stem combination that makes for a pleasant balance to the bowl in this refined piece. Dressed in the crisp, naturally stained Tanshell sandblast, one of the marque's most rare, collectable finishes, this vintage pipe from the early 1960s has developed a handsome, warm patina.
