English Estates: Dunhill Root Briar (LBS) (F/T) (4) (R) (1972)
Product Number: 004-002-20448
The "LBS" is in essence a slimmer, but still fairly large, sibling to the Dunhill "LB" straight Billiard. This shape had a pretty good run, first appearing post-WWII and continuing until the early 1970s, then reappearing again for a little while again the 1990s. As for this specific example of the "LBS," it's an appealing one, dating back to 1972 and displaying a tiger-striped cross-grain pattern across the Group 4-sized bowl.- Andrew Wike
